In an interview with Borussia Dortmund’s official club channel, Bellingham reflected on his first season in Germany and explained how much he has benefited from a regular run in the team. “When you're playing games, you start to feel a better rhythm. When young players get to have a run of games in the team, you see them develop. Even if it means you might fail at first, you get to figure out your game, your teammates, the formation, the way you play, the style and the stadium," said Bellingham, who remains committed to BVB for the long term after signing a contract until 2030 last summer. "You gain rhythm the more you play, and I feel like I've certainly been able to build confidence and more of a presence by playing more. I'm going to be here for a long time, so I'm happy that I'm building that rhythm.” The England U21 international is keen to keep developing and take his game forward. “I have an internal purpose. Every day i want to get better. every game I lay i want to win, get on the ball, show what I can do, phyiscally , technically show what I'm capable of," said Bellingham, who is working on building a particular part of his game. “I have an internal purpose.
