I think I would fit in well,” he told NPO Radio. “I spoke with Araujo a while ago after the match between the United States and Uruguay, and we had a good chat. “He told me that he and Frenkie sometimes say they don’t understand why I was sold, that I would fit in well here.” Dest is currently contracted to PSV until 2028 but refused to rule out moving on when asked about his future. “I think PSV is a great club, so the history of another club has to be good. But I want to keep testing myself. It also has to do with the Eredivisie,” he added. “I want to be able to improve myself every week in a more important league and measure myself against the best. There is interest from clubs, but there is nothing concrete yet. That is still far from happening.”
