Erling Haaland commented that he might have received a red card for Arsenal's Gabriel if he had fallen to the ground during their head-to-head incident. Both players received yellow cards during Manchester City's 2-1 victory over Arsenal.

Erling Haaland suggested that had he gone to ground after his head to head with Gabriel, then it would have been more likely that the Arsenal defender was sent off.
Both players were booked for the incident during City’s 2-1 win over the Gunners.
“I think if I fell on the floor there which I would not do unless someone really attacks me, I think maybe it would be a red card, I’m not sure,” Haaland told Sky Sports after the game.
“I haven’t seen the situation (back) to be honest but it is what it is. I will not fall on the floor easy like this.
“Yellow card for me? I don’t know why.”

Haaland scored the all important winner for his side in the second half and reflecting on his battle with Arsenal’s two centre-backs, he said: “I scored the goal, so of course I won that battle in the decisive moment.
“It was a good cross, the ball came, and the finish was perfect. I think it was a great goal and the decisive moment.”
