If the Raiders play internationally in 2026, we know the week, opponent, and locale

This Wednesday the NFL will announce their fill slate of international games. Ahead of that, there are many details we already know. But based on the details not yet known, there is still one real possibility the Raiders appear in one of them.

First of all, all the home teams have been announced for this year's international games. The Raiders are not one of them, which makes sense considering the AFC has more away games this season and -- outside the the Jaguars -- the tends to send the extra game international. Which is why all the home teams that are not the London Jags are NFC teams.

Of those teams, the Raiders face the Saints and the 49ers. The Saints game is one of the few games in which we know both teams. They will take on the Browns in Paris. To which I say -- sorry guys. You gave us the Statue of Liberty and we give you Deshaun Watson vs Tyler Shough.

That leaves just the 49ers in Mexico City. That game is already scheduled for Week 11. The only question is the opponent. Might the NFL send the old Bay Area rivalry to another country? It's very possible.

It's been six years since the Raiders played an international game. That means the Las Vegas Raiders have never played outside the United States. And they are due.

The scheduled for revealing all of the NFL's International games will begin at 6:00 AM Pacific (9am ET) on NFL Network. If the Mexico City game is to be broadcast on NFL Network, that's when we will find out. Otherwise, the announcement will wait until 11:00 AM if it's on Netflix or 2:30 PM if it's on YouTube.
