No. 2 scorer Stojakovic returns to loaded Illinois
Andrej Stojakovic is back at Illinois for his senior year, boosting their title hopes!

The ILH baseball schedule has been cut in half due to ongoing storms, limiting teams to seven games instead of the usual 14. The cancellation affects the second round of double-round robin play, prompting the league to seek alternative scheduling options.
Three Kona low storms later, an entire leg of regular-season play is down the drain for ILH baseball.
The latest storm kept fields across Oahu soggy and unplayable enough to trigger the cancellation of all games in the second set of double-round robin play in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu.
That means baseball teams will be capped at seven games instead of trying to squeeze in the normal 14, a single round-robin instead of the usual double round-robin regular season. It is a regrettable situation for each ILH team to see seven games sliced out of the season, but after three weeks of nearly nonstop rain and flooding damage, the ILH and leagues across the state are patching together workable schedules and praying for sunshine in the playoffs.
An alternate plan to squeeze in ILH regular-season makeup games at Les Murakami Stadium was offered to the ILH by UH-Manoa, according to
HHSAA executive director Chris Chun. Games could have been played during the school days at 9 a.m., noon and 3 p.m.
However, the opportunity arrived after the ILH had moved ahead with the plan to shelve the remaining makeup games, according to a school administrator. Kamehameha and ‘Iolani already agreed to play an exhibition game at UH on Wednesday, a senior-night event for the Raiders.
For No. 1 Kamehameha, it’s a wonky but positive scenario. The Warriors’ second game against Saint Louis, a 2-1 win on April 1, now doesn’t count in the standings. A matchup with Maryknoll on Friday will.
A win by the Warriors would clinch the round-one title and an automatic state-tournament berth.
Pac-Five entered a key matchup with Punahou on Thursday with a chance and improved to 5-1 with a win over Punahou.
It’s a long shot for Maryknoll, the league’s only winless team, to upset Kamehameha (6-0). At the very least, Pac-Five (5-1) secured the second seed for the upcoming round-two double-elimination playoff tournament. The Wolfpack meet Mid-Pacific (3-1-2) on Friday in a makeup game to close regular-season play, 6 p.m. at Hans L’Orange Park.

The ILH baseball schedule was reduced due to ongoing storms that made fields unplayable, leading to the cancellation of all games in the second round of play.
The storm's impact means teams will only play a single round-robin season, missing out on seven games that would have been part of the regular schedule.
Yes, an alternate plan was proposed to hold makeup games at Les Murakami Stadium during school hours, but it remains to be seen if this will be implemented.
