Indiana football is coming off of a national championship won thanks in large part to the efforts of a talented wide receiver out of Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis. The Hoosiers have been looking to add another standout receiver from that same program for a while and find themselves in a strong position to do so, per Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong:
Monshun Sales is rated as a 5-star prospect by both the Rivals Industry Ranking and the 247Sports composite, ranking in as the No. 1 rated wide receiver in each recruiting service’s database and as the seventh highest-rated prospect overall.
Being the talent he is, the race to land Sales’ commitment, and eventual signature, has been a tough one with Indiana competing against the likes of Alabama, Texas and Miami, among others, in his recruitment. The Hoosiers have the benefit of Sales being in their backyard and the national championship trophy being readily available for a photoshoot.
Sales wrapped up a visit to Bloomington just this week.
