Arsenal 'strangled by fear' - but Eze offers X-Factor
Arsenal narrowly defeats Newcastle, Eze shines despite injuries
The New England Patriots selected offensive tackle Dametrious Crownover with the 196th overall pick in the NFL Draft to enhance their depth at the position. Analysts have given the pick grades ranging from B- to A, highlighting Crownover's size and potential as a developmental player.
**Bernd Buchmasser:** The Patriots went for the double-dip at offensive tackle, and for a massive human being. Crownover stands at 6-foot-7, 319 pounds with 35 3/8-inch arms. It will be seen what kind of role he will earn on the roster, but at the very least he gives New England a physical specimen to possibly develop into a longterm swing tackle behind future starting pair Will Campbell and Caleb Lomu. | *Grade: **B+*** **Pat Lane:** The Patriots address tackle again in the sixth round, this time taking Crownover. They were lacking depth at the tackle position last season, and that is no longer a problem after taking two in the draft so far. Crownover has fantastic size and length and decent athleticism. He’s a bit of a project, but he should be a perfect swing tackle for them for the future, and, potentially, a starting tackle if either Lomu or Campbell need to move inside | *Grade: **B-*** **Matt St. Jean:** You can never have enough bodies on the offensive line, and the Patriots double-dipped at tackle for the second year in a row. Crownover is big and athletic with very long arms, and the right tackle was seen as a fourth-round pick by consensus. He’s an intriguing option as a developmental swing tackle. | *Grade: **A*** **Andrew Guindon:** The Patriots pick up another offensive tackle in Crownover, five rounds after the Caleb Lomu selection. With this pick, New England solidifies its depth at tackle for the foreseeable future. Crownover and are the top developmental candidates to take over the top swing tackle role after Lomu eventually receives his starting nod. He’s massive as well, standing at 6-foot-7 and 319 pounds, and has solid range and lateral agility for his size. Having a complete offensive tackle room is a luxury in the NFL. | *Grade: **A-*** The Patriots’ next draft pick is set to come around at No. 212 later in the sixth round. Their main needs at this point are linebacker and running back. *What do you think about this draft pick, though? Do you like it? Do you not?
