The interim manager of Ipswich Town Women has been appointed to the position on a permanent basis.
David Wright has helped lead the team away from the bottom of the Women's Super League 2 table, and they now sit in 10th place with two games remaining.
Before taking interim charge of Town Women in January, Wright coached in men's and academy football for clubs including Colchester United, MK Dons, Norwich City and then Ipswich Town.
Wright said he was "extremely honoured" to be appointed, adding: "We still have work to do in our final two games and we will be doing everything we can to end the campaign on a high."
He added: "I have really enjoyed leading this team over the past few months and I'm so pleased to be taking on this role.
"The players and staff have worked so hard since I've come in and that's been evident in the performances the girls have put in since the turn of the year."
Wednesday's 4-1 victory over Sheffield United, which ended a run of three defeats in a row, left the team three points clear of bottom club Portsmouth, with games against Birmingham City and Sunderland still to come.
Only one team will be relegated.

This is Ipswich's first year in the second flight, having been promoted last season under the management of Joe Sheehan.
Sean Burt, Town Women's technical director, said: "We are delighted that David has agreed to become our permanent manager.
"What he has achieved in such a short space of time, not only in terms of results, but also the culture within the dressing room has been nothing short of fantastic.
"The results during his interim period speak for themselves, and there's genuine excitement about what the future holds."
