Tyler Reddick passes Kyle Larson on the final lap of OT to win NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas
Tyler Reddick clinches victory at Kansas, marking his fifth win this season!
After former Iowa women's basketball guard Teagan Mallegni announced her commitment from the NCAA's transfer portal to Wisconsin on April 18, many fans expressed their opinions on the move on social media as she becomes the second former Hawkeye, joining Addie Deal, to sign with the Badgers in the past week. Mallegni showed promise that she could be a valuable asset off the bench for the Hawkeyes entering her sophomore season last year, but early-season injuries and the ensuing slip in the depth chart limited her to a reserve role instead. As a result, the 6-foot-1 native of McFarland, Wisconsin, only manufactured 22 points, collected 19 rebounds, 10 assists, and three steals in just 15 games played in the 2025-26 campaign. In a world of college athletics where the impact of NIL has effectively deteriorated any sense of loyalty to a singular program, the Hawkeyes' faithful showed an overwhelming sense of gratitude and support for Mallegni's decision based on the understanding that she desires increased playing time and the ability to be closer to home (McFarland is roughly nine miles outside of Madison).
Very happy for you @TeaganMallegni
