NEW DELHI: After winning their IPL 2026 match against Lucknow Super Giants, Rajasthan Royals will look to continue their winning run when they take on a high-flying Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday.
The spotlight was on several players during Rajasthan Royalsâ practice session, but it was Dhruv Jurel and Yashasvi Jaiswal who grabbed the limelight.
The fun element of the session saw Jurel turn bowler while Jaiswal donned the wicketkeeping gloves. Jurel asked Jaiswal to keep wickets in the nets before amusing everyone by mimicking Ravichandran Ashwinâs bowling action and then switching to a Jasprit Bumrah-like delivery. Watching him, RR captain Riyan Parag applauded Jurelâs efforts.
Towards the end of the video, Jaiswal said, âSikha diya tune.â
To this, Jurel replied: âTest wicketkeeper bana dunga tereko araamse.â
The RR vs SRH clash will be the first rematch of IPL 2026. The two sides had earlier met on April 13 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, where SRH delivered a dominant performance with both bat and ball. Chasing 216, Rajasthan Royals were bowled out for 159 in 19 overs, with SRH sealing a 57-run win.
Sunrisers Hyderabad head into the contest after a commanding win over Delhi Capitals. They have won four of their seven matches and are placed fourth on the points table with eight points and a net run rate of +0.820.
Rajasthan Royals also come into the game on the back of a convincing win over Lucknow Super Giants. They have won five of their seven matches and are placed second on the table with 10 points and a net run rate of 0.790.
