NEW DELHI: Sunrisers Hyderabad produced a dominant performance to climb to fourth place in the IPL 2026 points table after a commanding 57-run win over Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Monday.
Despite winning just two of their five matches so far, SRH have accumulated four points and boast a healthy net run rate of +0.576, which has helped them move into the top half of the standings.
Rajasthan Royals, meanwhile, continue to lead the table despite suffering their first defeat of the season.
They have played five matches, winning four and losing one, to sit comfortably at the top with eight points. Theey have an impressive net run rate of +0.889.
Punjab Kings are placed second with seven points from four matches, having won three games while one ended in no result. Their net run rate of +0.720 highlights their consistency so far.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru occupy the third spot with six points from four games, including three wins and one loss, and they have the best net run rate in the league at +1.148.
In the mid-table battle, Delhi Capitals are fifth with four points from four matches and a net run rate of +0.322.
Gujarat Titans also have four points but are sixth due to an inferior net run rate of -0.029.
Lucknow Super Giants sit seventh with the same number of points but a lower net run rate of -0.427.
At the bottom half, Mumbai Indians are eighth with two points from four matches and a net run rate of -0.772.
Chennai Super Kings are ninth with two points as well but have struggled significantly, reflected in their net run rate of -1.532.
Kolkata Knight Riders remain at the bottom with just one point from four matches, having not registered a win yet and holding a net run rate of -1.315.
