Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Rajasthan Royals follow closely on 8 points each. Sunrisers Hyderabad have surged into fourth with 6 points, joining Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans in a mid-table cluster.
Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings languish in seventh with just 4 points, and Kolkata Knight Riders remain winless at the bottom.
In the match at Hyderabad, Sunrisers Hyderabad edged Chennai Super Kings by 10 runs in a high-scoring encounter.
