Napheesa Collier signs supermax contract to return to the Lynx
Jalen Green is cleared to play for the Phoenix Suns in their play-in game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday, as he is off the injury report and has no minute restrictions.
The Phoenix Suns were one of the NBA's more surprisingly competitive teams this year. After finishing near the bottom of the Western Conference last season, a tough-nosed Phoenix team managed to snag the conference's No. 7 playoff seed. That, of course, means they have to participate in the play-in tournament, starting with Tuesday's No. 7 vs. No. 8 game with the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Suns rely on Devin Booker and Jalen Green for a lot of their scoring. But will the latter be available after suffering a knee injury near the regular season's finish line?
It sure seems like it. Green is officially off the Suns' injury report for Tuesday night. There is also no clear sign that he will be on any sort of minute restriction. He has the green light to play with Phoenix's season on the line this week. Honestly? So do the Suns.
