Speaking of teams looking to develop a young quarterback, the Giants—under new head coach John Harbaugh—are set to enter Year 2 of the Jaxson Dart era in 2026.
While New York’s clear-cut top receiver is rising third-year pro Malik Nabers, they could certainly use some more juice in a room that’s rounded out by Darius Slayton, Darnell Mooney and rookie third-round pick Malachi Fields, among others.
Diggs transformed himself from a big-play receiver into a security blanket and high-volume target for the Patriots last season, and in a Giants offense made up primarily of home-run hitters, could serve a similar role for Dart in 2026.
As Kadlick mentioned, the Giants have a young quarterback in Jaxson Dart that they need to surround with talent. The Giants' receiver room isn't exactly awe-inspiring, so it would be a big boost to add a player like Diggs.
Currently, the Giants are slated to start Malik Nabers, Darius Slayton, and Darnell Mooney. Nabers is legit, but the Giants could certainly stand to upgrade from Slayton and Mooney.
In 2025, Diggs played in all 17 regular season games and caught 85 passes for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns. 2025 was the seventh season in which Diggs ended with at least 1,000 yards.
Kirk Cousins, Josh Allen, C.J. Stroud, and Drake Maye all put up huge numbers throwing to Diggs in the past, so it's safe to assume Dart could do the same. The Giants already have one Pro Bowl-level talent, and adding another, like Diggs, could take the offense to the next level.
