Isaiah Evans has made his decision about next year and will be entering the 2026 NBA Draft. Itās not clear yet though whether heās 100% committed to the draft. Currently, NBADraft.net has him pegged as a #14 pick to the Charlotte Hornets. For a kid from North Carolina, thatās pretty awesome, but the draft picks wonāt be set until the lottery is held, and even then, there are no guarantees.
Presumably, heāll go through the process, get feedback, and then decide. Itās impossible to be certain about a player outside the lottery anymore, because you could conceivably make more money by coming back to school for the next year.
Whatever he decides to do, Evans has been a joy to watch play and develop. Weāll be following his career wherever it takes him and pulling for Showtime Slim to blow people away.
