The Irish international central-defender, joined the club in 2021 and is approaching 150 appearances for the Celtic, having established himself as a first pick for Brendan Rodgers, Martin OāNeill (twice) and Wilfried Nancy. Ahead of that Ange Postecoglou had sent him out on loan to Aberdeen and the Pittdorie side were desperate to sign him just as Brendan returned to the club in June 2023.

Liamās Ā performances on both the domestic and European scenes for Celtic have also earned Scales multiple caps and the Celtic defender is now very much a regular first-team player for the Republic of Ireland.

We are a better team when heās in and heās also got the ability to play left-back, and I think itās good news for the club because heās always there.
