Hunter has made it clear since the 2025 NFL Draft process that he fully intends to play both sides of the ball. He is a true blue-chip talent who has showcased his brilliance since entering the league.

The concern lies in his long-term durability. Playing both ways not only makes recovery between games more difficult, but also increases the risk of injury due to a higher snap count.
Thatâs not to say Hunter canât do it. The bigger question is how long he can sustain it.vHunter played only seven games in 2025 before suffering a season-ending LCL injury. Make no mistake, thoughâhe appears ready to resume his normal workload once he receives a clean bill of health.
During his rookie campaign, Hunter made a greater impact on offense. Defensively, he recorded 15 tackles, three passes defended, and one fumble recovery.
On offense, Hunter hauled in 28 receptions for 298 yards and a touchdown. Had he played a full season, he was on pace to surpass 700 receiving yards on fewer than 70 receptions.
