Jacy Jayne is influencing creative changes on WWE SmackDown, according to Fightful Select.
Several people involved in the creative process have begun rearranging plans in the women’s division to feature Jayne more prominently, driven by crowd reactions to Fatal Influence since the group’s arrival on the main roster last month.
Fatal Influence made their SmackDown debut on April 24, interrupting a match involving Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. Later that night, Jayne faced WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, losing by disqualification after stablemates Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid attacked Ripley during the match.

The group has wasted no time inserting itself at the top of the SmackDown women’s division, with Jayne’s history giving WWE plenty to work with. She is a former two-time NXT Women’s Champion, winning the title for the first time in May 2025 by defeating Stephanie Vaquer and holding it for 151 days before losing to Tatum Paxley at NXT Halloween Havoc. She regained the title at Gold Rush in November 2025 and held it for a further 137 days before dropping it to Lola Vice at NXT Stand & Deliver in a triple threat also involving Kendal Grey.

Jayne also holds the honor of being the first wrestler to simultaneously hold championships in both WWE and TNA. She won the TNA Knockouts World Championship at TNA Slammiversary in July 2025 in a winner-takes-all match against Masha Slamovich while still NXT Women’s Champion, though she lost the TNA title 36 days later at NXT Heatwave.
