The Jacksonville Jaguars signed 18 undrafted free agents, including cornerback Devon Marshall from NC State. With over 2,100 career defensive snaps and a 49% completion rate allowed, he shows potential for a roster spot.
The Jacksonville Jaguars announced that they signed 18 undrafted free agents following the conclusion of the 2026 NFL draft. Let's take a closer look at these players and highlight why each could make a potential roster push.
Up next is NC State cornerback Devon Marshall.
Marshall has played over 2,100 career defensive snaps and spent the last two seasons at NC State after previously playing at Villanova. Throughout his career, he has been stingy in coverage, allowing a completion rate of just 49%, according to PFF. He's also had excellent ball production, generating four interceptions and 20 pass breakups over the last two seasons.
Not to be overlooked either, but Marshall was one of PFF's higher graded run defenders from the cornerback position.
For more on Marshall, here is what Pro Football Network had to say in their pre-draft scouting report:
"Marshall is undersized, but he has good mass for his frame, and he's a reasonably explosive, fluid, and twitched-up mover with enough long speed to contend vertical and crowd WRs in recovery. He can match, redirect, and keep close depth in press-man, and also flashes great spatial reasoning and 2-on-1 awareness in zone."
What we know right now at the cornerback position is that Travis Hunter, Jourdan Lewis, Montaric Brown, and make up the top four spots on the depth chart. That leaves one to two roster spots up for grabs.

Christian Braswell will enter training camp as the favorite for that fifth spot on the depth chart, but he's not an absolute roster lock either. And if the Jaguars keep six cornerbacks, which is perhaps more likely than not with Hunter playing both ways, that position on the roster is wide open and up for grabs.
