The New York Knicks sealed their first-round series against the Atlanta Hawks with a dominant 140-89 victory in Game 6.
By halftime, the contest was already decided, with the Knicks holding a commanding lead. That one-sided nature shifted attention away from the game itself in the post-match press conference.
With few tactical questions left to explore, one journalist took a different approach and asked Jalen Brunson about WWE, leading to an unexpected moment.

Brunson was asked about WWE heavyweight champion Roman Reigns during his post-game media appearance. The question referenced Reigns’ recent victory over CM Punk at WrestleMania 42.
The journalist said: “As a wrestling fan, what did you think of Roman winning that WrestleMania and The Bloodline getting back together?”
Brunson embraced the moment and responded with a light-hearted answer.
The 29-year-old guard said: “Very exciting. I have a handshake with one of our trainers and we acknowledge [Roman Reigns] before every game.”
His reply included a nod to Reigns’ well-known catchphrase “acknowledge me”. It also highlighted the relaxed atmosphere following a game that had long been settled.
On the court, Brunson once again played a key role in securing the result.
After scoring 39 points in Game 5, he did not need to replicate that output in a one-sided contest.
He finished Game 6 with 17 points, two rebounds and eight assists, without playing the final quarter.
The Knicks won the game with a score of 140-89.
