Nothing's going right for the Red Sox. Between injuries, slumping hitters, underperforming pitchers and shaky defense, they're struggling in all areas.

Things definitely seem to be snowballing for the Red Sox, especially at the plate. They've clearly been pressing, chasing too many pitches out of the zone and making weak contact rather than doing damage on pitches inside the zone.

While the results haven't been there for Boston, Duran says the team is working hard to turn things around and believes it will happen soon.
"We are really young, and it’s just getting through those bumps and bruises," he added. "I remember I took my bumps and bruises coming up playing in the big leagues. We got some young guys that are in here for the first time. And it’s just one of those things. It’s just baseball. We’re going to get through it together."
