“Yeah, for sure. I mean, you know, we connecting right now and like I said, OTA is a time for that. You know, as these weeks go on, you learn more and more about your teammates and learn more and more about each other. So, which builds the chemistry and um that’s bigger than anything. And just from seeing him play… the dude makes plays everywhere, you know, and I like his game a lot. I respect his game a lot. Very versatile. Does it all just… with that energy, that swag. Um, yeah, he’s a great player.”
For Hawkins, building chemistry during OTAs is already paying dividends, especially alongside players like Kyle Hamilton and Malaki Starks. Hawkins' comments reflect the respect Hamilton commands across the league for his versatility, energy, and ability to impact games from multiple positions.
