It wasn't pretty, but the Boston Celtics found a way to win on Friday night.
Coming off an ugly Game 2 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers at TD Garden on Tuesday, the Celtics bounced back to win Game 3 in Philadelphia on Friday,Ā 108-100.
The game was close all the way through as Boston got a bit careless with the basketball, committingĀ 17 turnovers. Fortunately, the Celtics won nearly every other category, which was enough to win the game.
Boston's biggest improvement was beyond the arc. After shooting just 26 percent from downtown in Game 2, the Celtics sank 42.6 percent of their 3-pointers in Game 3.
āWe still had 17 turnovers and a lot of ugly possessions," Jayson Tatum said during his postgame press conference. "On both sides of the ball, there are a lot of things that we can learn from."
Tatum and Jaylen Brown scored 25 points apiece, leading Boston past a Sixers team that . , but stepped up against his former team and drilled five 3-pointers.
