Jenson Button has responded amid rumours he is replacing Martin Brundle on Sky Sports F1.
Over the years, Brundle, 66, has become a key part of Sky Sportsâ Formula 1 coverage, mainly offering analysis on commentary alongside David Croft.
The former F1 driver, who raced for teams like Williams, Brabham, Benetton and McLaren, has also seen his popularity grow due to his famous pre-race grid walks.
However, Brundle has already missed two races this season, leading to questions being asked about his long-term future with the broadcaster.

Taking to social media on Monday afternoon, Brundle reassured fans and claimed that he will be âat 15 of the remaining 19 racesâ.
Replying to a fan, Brundle wrote: âUtter clickbait nonsense Margaret, donât be concerned. Iâve done 16 races per year for a good while now and continue to do so.
âIn fact with the cancellations I am at 15 of the remaining 19 races this season, subject to world events of course, as always.â
2009 world champion Button then replied to Brundleâs tweet amid rumours he could be the 66-year-oldâs long-term replacement.
He wrote: âNobody should be replacing Martin until he decides heâs had enough. Iâve listen to Martin in comms since I started in the sport and love his knowledge, insights and work ethic.
âAs much as I enjoy jumping in the comms box when Martin is taking a well deserved break I wouldnât want to do anymore as Iâve got enough going on!â
Button stated Brundle remains âthe manâ when it comes to âcommentary and insightsâ.
He added: âI am not positioned to replace Martin, heâs the man when it comes to commentary and insights.
âAs much as I love jumping in when Martin is taking a well deserved break I wouldnât want to do more as Iâve got enough going on!â
