Jermaine Eluemunor blasts Colin Cowherd’s diss at his $39 million extension

Jermaine Eluemunor did not stay quiet after Colin Cowherd took aim at his new contract.

The New York Giants right tackle had just secured a three-year, $39 million extension, a deal that reflects both his consistency and rise along the offensive line.

But instead of focusing on the milestone, the conversation quickly shifted after Cowherd questioned both his value and role.

The criticism came during a segment shared via TheHerd, where Cowherd did not hold back.

“He’s a journeyman. He’ll be pressed into left tackle duty at some point. And then you’ll be a mess at both tackles,” Cowherd said.

The take immediately drew attention, especially given Eluemunor’s recent performance and his established role at right tackle.

Labeling him as a “journeyman” also overlooked the steady progression that ultimately led to his current deal.

Eluemunor responded directly via his X handle, and his message was anything but subtle.

“So, Colin Cowherd, Idk why you’ve chosen to open your mouth about s___ you clearly have no clue about. ‘Journeyman.’

“Sure it was a journey to get to where I’m at now but I earned every damn penny of the contract I signed,” Eluemunor said.
