The 2026 NFL Draft class is not a very deep one, but there are a few very intriguing prospects set to go early in this year's draft.
With the New York Jets owning the No. 2 overall pick, they'll be able to land a premier pass rusher in either Arvell Reese or David Bailey. But that might not be all the Jets do inside the top-10 picks.
ESPN's Matt Miller predicted that the Jets would be very aggressive and look for a top-10 trade-up this year alongside the Dallas Cowboys. The Jets might face some competition from the Cowboys in a possible trade-up during this year's draft.
"The Cowboys (No. 12) and Jets (No. 16) are two teams to watch in the teens who would like to snag the highly rated players before they're off the board," Miller writes.
The Jets are picking four spots after the Cowboys' first of two picks inside Round 1. But the Jets own the 33rd and 44th picks, which should be some quality capital to move up in the draft if they want to.
With one of Reese or Bailey likely to be the pick at No. 2 overall, the Jets could be trying to move up again to land a premier wide receiver like Carnell Tate or Jordyn Tyson.
But, if they're looking to upgrade a similar position as the Cowboys, which might be where the two teams compete in trade talks, it could be for Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles.

While the Jets trading a lot of capital for an off-ball linebacker might not seem like the best use of resources, in this year's lackluster class, adding as good a talent as possible isn't a bad idea.
Dallas and New York might not be going after the same player in a trade-up, but if one team makes the move up the board, the teams picking next might not be willing to trade down or be ready to take the player the Jets or Cowboys want to move up for.
It's unlikely the Jets move up to No. 3 overall, which is something the Cowboys have been linked to at times this offseason. But the two teams could be eying a trade-up with the Cleveland Browns at No. 6.
Regardless of which player(s) the two teams are targeting in a potential trade-up, there's been buzz about the Jets and Browns swinging an aggressive trade to move up inside the top-10. And for the Jets, that could pose a big issue in a weaker draft class.
