Jets' Russell Wilson news is somehow flying under the radar

Russ is a Super Bowl champion with a long history of NFL success, but recent years haven't been as kind to him, and now he's still looking for a job even as all the gigs around the league have been filled. He'll have to settle for a backup spot somewhere, and it's just a matter of figuring out where.

The Jets would come with the potentially positive relationship with Smith, as well as not too much imagining needed to picture a point this season when Wilson was starting again. On the flip side, they aren't expected to contend for a championship.

But Wilson is past the point of being picky. If he wants to keep playing football, he's got to take what he can get.

And even though the news is flying under the radar at the moment, it's clear that Russ might have to work something out with the Jets, because not much else seems to be out there for him.
