The 1.95-metre central defender joined Salzburg from Paris Saint-Germain's U19 team in the summer of 2024 and quickly progressed to the first team of our Red Bulls. Following five appearances for our UEFA Youth League team and one match for our co-operation club FC Liefering, he made a total of 58 competitive appearances for FC Red Bull Salzburg.
Now the 19-year-old French youth international's journey continues with the team currently second in the German Bundesliga.
A move to one of the best clubs in Germany is a positive one for everyone involved – for the player, but also for us as a club. We know that Joane has the talent and quality to succeed there and become an important player. We wish him all the very the best!

I am very grateful for the time I spent at FC Red Bull Salzburg, where I learned a tremendous amount. Now I have the unique opportunity to move to a top club in the German Bundesliga to take the next steps in my career. I certainly didn't want to miss this chance. I will cherish my time in Salzburg and look back fondly on two instructive years!
