Joe Burrow remains unchanged despite his recent Hollywood appearances, according to teammate Orlando Brown Jr. Brown emphasized that Burrow's confidence and true self are now more visible to the public.
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow "hasn't changed" amid his high-profile appearances, his teammate recently said.
Offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. said during an April 13 appearance on the "Up & Adams" show with Kay Adams that Burrow has "always been" the person that the public sees stepping into the Hollywood limelight.
"I think, personally, he's always been somebody that's what you see now," Brown said. "He didn't always present that way to the public for whatever reason that is."
"I think what you're seeing now is his confidence and being who he truly is," he continued. "That's why you see him in LA, that's why you see him at some of these parties and walking in Paris Fashion Week. That's who he's always been."
"I wouldn't say he's changed, I think he's just more comfortable now, maybe, in front of the camera than he was before," Brown said.
Burrow has often been called a "small-town Ohio kid" by members of the media. In recent years, he has made headlines for attending events with well-known Hollywood celebrities, such as Michael Rubin's "White Party" in the Hamptons and a 2026 Oscars after-party. Some fans have criticized Burrow for what they thought was a difference in his personality.
Adams also asked Brown to comment on rumors that Burrow is unhappy in Cincinnati and wants to be traded. Brown subsequently shut them down.
"I don't think it's real. I think at the end of the day, Joe gives his all for the city, man, and he loves being a Bengal," Brown said. He later said he hadn't directly spoken to Burrow about them, however.
Brown also added these rumors come as the Bengals continue to miss the playoffs, and as the team wins and returns to the postseason, the rumors will die down.
