The 2026 NFL Draft is approaching fast and league scouts are solidifying their big boards. Wide Receiver Jordyn Tyson could be among the players who hear their name called early in Pittsburgh this week when the NFL welcomes its newest class of rookies.
USA TODAY Sports has all the latest on where the prospect out of Arizona State may land.
Here's how USA TODAY's latest mock draft currently projects draft day will play out for the former college star.
Nate Davis' Fit Analysis:
A lot of dots being connected between the Giants and Tyson given the Lawrence deal was struck just a day after GM Joe Schoen attended the wideouts belated workout in Arizona. Tyson's injury history is certainly problematic, but he's also widely considered this draft's best receiver otherwise. And New York certainly has a need at the position following WR2 Wan'Dale Robinsons departure during free agency combined with WR1 Malik Nabers recovery from ACL and meniscus injuries Harbaugh recently indicating his availability for Week 1 could be in doubt. Regardless, a Nabers-Tyson combo would be one heckuva way to set Dart up for long-term success.
Ayrton Ostly's Big Board Rank: No. 8
Tyson's been the top wide receiver prospect all season despite other risers at the position thanks to his elite route-running for his age. His suddenness paired with that route-running creates separation at will. He lacks elite vertical speed but has the ball skills, alignment versatility and playmaking teams love to see packed in a 6-foot-2, 200-pound frame.
Campus Intel:
The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder has 136 catches for 1,812 yards and 18 touchdowns the last two years. He has the ability to make catches in traffic and to separate himself from a defender. For much of the last season he was considered a top 10 pick and the first receiver off the board, but durability is the issue with injuries ending his season early the last two years. A private workout a week before the draft could go a long way toward changing the narrative. -- Michelle Gardner, Arizona Republic
