Millwall beat QPR to climb back into second in Championship
Millwall's 2-0 win over QPR puts them back in second place in the Championship!
Jordyn Tyson, an Arizona State wide receiver, is emerging as a strong candidate for the New Orleans Saints' pick at number eight in the 2026 NFL Draft despite his injury history. His impressive route running and athleticism make him a valuable addition to the team's offense.
Jordyn Tyson is Picking Up Steam to be the Saints' Selection at Pick 8
Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson’s stock has fluctuated throughout the 2026 NFL Draft cycle; however, he’s quickly gaining steam to be the New Orleans Saints’ selection at pick eight. Tyson’s a dangerous selection due to his worrisome injury history, but is worth the risk. His outstanding route running, superb athleticism, and IQ make him an ideal fit in the Saints’ offense.
Tyson’s medicals are a serious concern. The issues began in 2022 at Colorado when he tore his ACL, MCL, and PCL. After rehabbing in 2023, he had a strong 2024 campaign. Unfortunately, he broke his collarbone late in the season, which caused him to miss the College Football Playoffs. His bad luck continued last season with his lingering hamstring problems, causing him to miss three games and a majority of the pre-draft cycle.
Due to his absence from the pre-draft cycle, the Saints have emphasized meeting with Tyson. They hosted the former Sun Devil for a top-30 visit, but he wasn’t able to participate in drills. Because of this, he hosted a private workout on Friday, April 17, which the Saints will be in attendance for.
The interest is evident; Jordyn Tyson is an option for the Saints at pick 8
Tyson’s not only an option in the first round, but he should be the frontrunner. He would pair with Chris Olave and Devaughn Vele to form an elite trio of receivers for Tyler Shough.
Tyson’s arguably the most well-rounded prospect in the draft. From an athletic standpoint, he’s outstanding. His long strides eat up space and cause him to burn defenders deep. Additionally, he has rapid acceleration/deceleration that makes it nearly impossible for defenders to stay with him.
This ability also impacts his route running. Tyson’s efficient on his cuts and hardly loses any speed. He’s able to plant his foot on the ground and make a precise cut. He has an expansive route tree and can run and play an offensive coordinator's calls.
Jordyn Tyson has faced multiple injuries, including a torn ACL, MCL, and PCL in 2022, a broken collarbone in 2024, and lingering hamstring issues that caused him to miss several games.
The Saints are interested in Jordyn Tyson due to his outstanding route running, athleticism, and football IQ, which align well with their offensive needs.
The top-30 visit indicates the Saints' serious consideration of Tyson as a potential draft pick, despite his inability to participate in drills due to injury.

This makes him amazing, but his IQ while running routes is what makes him exceptional. Tyson expertly stems defenders and masterfully uses defenders’ leverage against him, which helps him create instant separation.
Overall, Jordyn Tyson is the perfect selection for the Saints at pick 8. He’s an extremely risky option, as his injury history is concerning, but his upside is too impressive to pass up on. His elite athleticism, route running, and IQ make him a well-rounded prospect and one that the Saints should take a chance on.
