"Yeah, hopefully we can talk at halftime of his game or something, but it's going to be real nice," Jordyn told PEOPLE at Point State Park in Pittsburgh.
The first round of this year's draft unfolded at the same time the Cavaliers visited the Toronto Raptors in Game 3 of their first-round playoff series. Cleveland currently holds a 2-1 series lead even after Thursday's 126-104 loss.
Jaylon provided his younger brother with plenty of draft night advice, including how to navigate the emotions that come with the unpredictable, yet thrilling process.
"Yeah, just having that fine medium between the ebbs and flows," Jordyn said of his brother's advice. "Some stuff's going to go your way, some stuff's not going to go your way. So just being yourself through it all, continue to work your tail off through it all, and that's all you really can do. Just focus on yourself."
When given the chance to shout out one person heâd like to thank for helping him get to draft night, Jordyn turned his attention to Jaylon.
"Yeah. My brother couldn't be here tonight. All things in me, instilled work ethic in me at a young age would not be here without him, 100%," the wide receiver shared of the shooting guard.
