The UFC has increasingly embraced AI tools within its marketing strategy in recent months. Dana White has publicly supported that direction after AI-generated content drew attention online.
That trend led fans to speculate about further uses of artificial intelligence. A recent pre-fight graphic for the bout between Jack Della Maddalena and Carlos Prates sparked debate, with many believing the promotion had leaned on AI again.
However, those assumptions proved incorrect. One fighter stepped in to clarify the situation, offering a candid explanation that quickly caught attention across social media.

Josh Hokit denied that the UFC used AI in its pre-fight standard graphics. The heavyweight responded directly to a post on X that questioned the authenticity of the visuals.
“It’s not A.I…. we really have to stand like idiots for 30 seconds…” he wrote. The comment immediately shifted the conversation around the images.
Hokit’s response stood out not only for its clarity but also for its tone. The remark was seen by many as a subtle dig at the promotion’s media process.
That approach is unusual for the rising fighter, who is still building his profile inside the organisation.
Hokit has enjoyed a rapid ascent since joining the UFC. With only three fights within the promotion, he has already secured a place on the White House card.
His growing reputation is linked not only to performances but also to his personality. ‘The Incredible Hok’s’ eccentric behaviour outside of the cage helped him stand out in a competitive division.
He was expected to lose to Curtis Blaydes at UFC 327 but delivered a significant upset. That result accelerated his progress in the rankings.
Now, he prepares to face another top contender in Derrick Lewis.
