A key man for Atletico Madrid this season, Julian Alvarez is considering leaving the Colchoneros next June. PSG is a real option for the Argentine international's future.

Author of 20 goals and 9 assists in all competitions in a team that did not shine in the league, Alvarez, 26, assumed his rank with Atletico Madrid.

The Colchoneros, who will lose Antoine Griezmann in a few weeks, hope to continue building the future with their Argentine world champion. But nothing is certain regarding the future of the former Manchester City striker.

As proof, Carrusel Deportivo reports that some Atletico Madrid executives believe Alvarez intends to leave.

The Spanish outlet goes further, affirming that the player's entourage is pushing very hard for a departure. Alvarez's agent, as well as his family, are in favor of a transfer, and three teams clearly stand out: Barcelona, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain.

The three clubs have inquired several times during the season about Alvarez's intentions and salary demands. They are ready to pull the trigger even if, for the moment, neither Barcelona, nor the Gunners, nor PSG has directly contacted Atletico Madrid to negotiate a transfer, according to Carrusel Deportivo.

The question now is whether the Champions League semifinalist will agree to part with Alvarez in the event of an offer this summer.

It is not impossible, according to the cited outlet, which affirms that Atletico will study all proposals and does not rule out selling Alvarez in the event of a very high offer.

As a reminder, Atletico Madrid paid $82 million to recruit the Argentine world champion two years ago. It will therefore be necessary to exceed that sum and probably approach $109 million to break the Spanish club's management.
