Juventus considering shock move for Milan’s Ardon Jashari
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are considering making a move for Milan midfielder Ardon Jashari in the summer.
The Switzerland international had already been on The Old Lady’s radar during him time at Club Brugge, but Milan beat Juve to his signature last summer, signing him for €36 million.
However, the 23-year-old has hardly represented the Rossoneri this season, having made just 13 appearances across all competitions. This is in no small part due to a broken fibula he sustained earlier in the season, which sidelined him for roughly two months.
Juve coach Luciano Spalletti is keen on adding another deep-lying playmaker to his ranks alongside Manuel Locatelli. Having signed only last year, Jashari has four more years remaining on his €4.63m-per-year contract.
However, given he already was attracting interest from Juve, as well as how sporadically he has been used by Massimilliano Allegri at San Siro this season, Milan may be persuaded to cut their losses if they receive an offer in the region of the fee they paid to Club Brugge for last summer.
Milan and Juve also face off on Sunday in a crucial late-season encounter, the result of which may prove vital in the two sides’ quest for Champions League football next season.
