The Kansas City Chiefs are predicted to sign a First-Team All-Pro receiver as they prepare for the 2026 NFL Draft. This move aims to bolster their roster and support quarterback Patrick Mahomes immediately.
Leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs were viewed as a bit unpredictable. Some thought they’d move up for a blue-chip talent, and Kansas City did, jumping up to No. 6 to select LSU cornerback Mansoor Delane.
Others thought the Chiefs would stick and pick a cornerback, edge rusher, offensive tackle, or wide receiver in the first round. While the Chiefs did add the CB and later a defensive tackle with Clemson’s Peter Woods, Kansas City didn’t add a receiver until the fifth round.
Yet, the Chiefs are hoping to get back to the postseason in 2026; they may not want to wait around for more developmental prospects to reach their potential. How about signing a proven receiver who can definitely help Patrick Mahomes right away?

Recently, Sports Illustrated‘s Albert Breer predicted that the Chiefs could still be the eventual landing spot for current free agent Tyreek Hill. The former Chiefs wideout was released by the Miami Dolphins back in February, and his market has been ice cold since.
The 32-year-old will certainly be playing football for an NFL team this season, and chances are he’ll prioritize landing with a contender. So, why not consider a reunion with a team he already knows, that still has the same head coach and quarterback that he won a Super Bowl with?

Hill hasn’t had a 1,000-yard season since 2023, but the Chiefs know what type of competitor he is. At a reasonable rate, Hill could wind up being one of Kansas City’s best offseason additions, if a deal comes to fruition.
