
Kentucky football has secured a commitment from three-star linebacker Antwoine Higgins for the Class of 2027. The Cincinnati standout is ranked as the No. 37 linebacker in the nation and has received offers from multiple top programs.

Kentucky football continued its strong momentum in the Class of 2027 on Wednesday with the addition of three-star linebacker Antwoine Higgins, according to 247Sports, further strengthening a rapidly growing recruiting class under head coach Will Stein’s staff.
Higgins, a 6-foot-2.5, 223-pound standout from Cincinnati, Ohio, announced his commitment after holding offers from programs such as Alabama, Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn, and several others. According to 247Sports, Higgins is ranked as the No. 37 linebacker nationally and the No. 17 overall player in the state of Ohio.
Higgins plays his high school football at Cincinnati Anderson, a program that has reached the Division II state championship game in back-to-back seasons. His combination of size, athleticism, and production made him one of the more sought-after defenders.
The commitment marks Kentucky’s 11th pledge in the 2027 cycle, a group that currently sits inside the Top 10 of national recruiting rankings. Higgins becomes the third Ohio-based commitment in the class.
