Kentucky football has secured a commitment from 2027 3-star interior offensive lineman Ian Walker, a 6-foot-6, 305-pound player from New Jersey. Walker is ranked No. 411 nationally and was pursued by nearly 30 schools, including Alabama and Ohio State.

Kentucky football has added another major piece to its rapidly growing 2027 recruiting class as high 3-star interior offensive lineman Ian Walker announced his commitment to the Wildcats on Monday, according to Hayes Fawcett of Rivals.
Walker is a 6-foot-6, 305-pound lineman from Pennington, New Jersey and becomes another significant recruiting win for first-year head coach Will Stein and his staff.
According to 247Sports, Walker is ranked No. 411 nationally, the No. 22 interior offensive lineman in the country, and the No. 8 overall prospect in the state of New Jersey. Walker held nearly 30 scholarship offers throughout his recruitment, including Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Boston College, Ohio State, Tennessee, Maryland, and Oregon.
Kentucky made a strong impression during Walker’s spring practice visit to Lexington in April, helping solidify the Wildcats as a serious contender in his recruitment. Walker is also expected to return to Lexington for his official visit on June 12.
Walker becomes the 15th commitment in Kentucky’s 2027 recruiting class and has also joined Brady Hull and Matthias Burrell as the third offensive line commit.
