The biggest question facing every WNBA team in training camp
WNBA training camps open with key questions for each team.
The Kentucky Wildcats football team and coach Will Stein have attacked the 2027 recruiting class hard, looking to continue to upgrade the talent level of the roster. In particular, they contacted many of the top quarterbacks in the class, and were in contention for many of them. Now, one of them could be on the verge on committing to the Wildcats.
Per Steve Wiltfong of On3 (subscription required), Jake Nawrot is trending towards Kentucky. He has even made an official prediction of the move, and it would be a huge recruiting win for Stein and the Cats.
Nawrot is a 6'4", 200 lb QB from Illinois with a big and accurate arm. He is currently ranked as the No. 2 quarterback and the No. 40 overall player in the class by 247Sports. Some services have him ranked even higher.
Kentucky does still have competition for Nawrot. He has taken visits to Louisville, Florida State, and the Oregon Ducks among others. They're sure to keep up the heat as well. Obviously, predictions don't automatically mean he'll wind up in Lexington. Still, it's good to see that they're in strong contention for such a highly rated player. Hopefully, there will be more.
