Kerkez, Woodman And Frimpong To Start | 4-2-3-1 Liverpool Predicted Lineup Vs Crystal Palace

Liverpool will welcome Crystal Palace at Anfield this Saturday as they look to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Reds managed to earn a hard-fought 2-1 win over Everton in the Merseyside derby recently, so they would be full of confidence going into this game.

Arne Slot will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation once again and is expected to make a few tweaks to his first XI for this clash. Milos Kerkez, Freddie Woodman and Jeremie Frimpong could play from the start of this game.

4-2-3-1 Liverpool Predicted Lineup To Face Crystal Palace

Defence

Freddie Woodman will operate in between the sticks for the Reds as he looks to keep a clean sheet at Anfield this weekend. Ibrahima Konate will operate alongside Virgil Van Dijk at the heart of the Liverpool backline as they look to keep a good shape when defending inside their half.

Jeremie Frimpong will try to put in a good performance as the right-back, while Milos Kerkez hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Andy Robertson will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Dominik Szoboszlai will anchor the midfield along with Ryan Gravenberch as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and engineer a few clear-cut chances in the final third.

The gifted trio of Florian Wirtz, Alexis Mac Allister and Mohamed Salah will play just ahead of them as part of the Liverpool attack. All three of them need to combine well if the Reds are to secure a convincing win this weekend.

Curtis Jones and Rio Ngumoha will be named on the bench as they await their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Cody Gakpo will spearhead Slot’s attack up top. He has to find a way to be a constant menace on the offensive end of the field.

Alexander Isak will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if the Merseyside club are in need of a goal by then.
