The Los Angeles Lakers failed to close out the Houston Rockets at home in Game 5, and now they’ll be back on the road Friday night.
Fortunately for the Lakers, though, the additional game won’t mean the return of Rockets star Kevin Durant.
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that Durant will miss his fourth straight game with a bone bruise in his left ankle.

Durant has actually suffered a pair of injuries that have limited his impact on this playoff series.
He missed Game 1 with a knee injury, then returned for Game 2.
It was near the end of Game 2, though, where he hurt his ankle, an injury that’s cost him Games 3, 4, 5 and now 6.
Game 6 is set for 6:30 p.m. PT at the Toyota Center in Houston.
If the Rockets win Game 6, the deciding Game 7 will be played on Sunday in Los Angeles.
