Jatori Williams, a four-star offensive line prospect from Alabama, will commit on May 22, with Miami emerging as the favorite. Florida State is one of six finalists but faces tough competition.

The Florida State Seminoles have just six players committed in their 2027 recruiting class, and none along the offensive line. Herb Hand is working to change that, and their top target has set his commitment date.
Jatori Williams, a four-star prospect from Phenix City, Alabama, is set to commit on May 22, and FSU is one of six finalists. Williams is also considering the Miami Hurricanes, Georgia Bulldogs, Alabama Crimson Tide, Auburn Tigers, and Kentucky Wildcats. Unfortunately for FSU, one of the other programs has emerged as the favorite for the 6-foot-5, 320-pounder.
Miami has received four predictions to land Williams over the past two days from various recruiting experts for Rivals. The predictions give the Hurricanes a 95.4%% chance to land his commitment, according to the Rivals recruiting prediction machine.
Williams is ranked as the No. 105 overall player and No. 9 interior offensive lineman in the Rivals industry rankings. He is also the No. 4 player from Alabama.
It would be a massive blow for FSU to miss out on Williams, especially if he goes to one of their top rivals. They have been recruiting him since January of 2025, and he is one of just a few blue-chip prospects seriously considering them. He has visited campus numerous times since then, and has scheduled an official visit for June 12, but it is unclear whether he will take his official visit after committing.
