The 2025-26 NBA season was a forgettable one for the Utah Jazz. They finished dead last in the Western Conference standings and missed out on postseason play for a fourth consecutive season.

Jumping from last place in the conference directly into the playoff picture the following season isn't an easy task, but Jazz guard Keyonte George is confident that the Jazz can do just that.

"For sure. No doubts about it, in my mind," George said his end-of-season press conference when asked whether the Jazz can make the playoffs next season.

"On paper, we look phenomenal. We're big. Have length, can shoot it, and get to the rim. We've got multiple defensive guys that can protect the paint and protect the perimeter. When you look at us, we've got all the tools."

George has never experienced postseason basketball in his three years in the league, so it's easy to see that he's eager to get there.

However, it's also possible that he doesn't understand quite how difficult it is to make it to the playoffs, especially in an extremely competitive conference. Going from last-to-playoffs is going to be very difficult for Utah, albeit not impossible.
