Keyser's Bibs Felton has been named Player of the Year in the All-Potomac Valley Conference Division 1, averaging 19.6 points per game. Coach Josh Blowe received Coach of the Year honors as Keyser secured the PVC team championship and advanced to the Class AAA state tournament semifinals.
Led by junior Bibs Felton’s Player of the Year honor, Keyser swept the All-Potomac Valley Conference Division 1 awards released this week.
Felton, a junior guard/forward, averaged 19.6 points per game in leading the Golden Tornado to an 18-4 finish.
Keyser, making its third straight Class AAA state tournament appearance and first semifinal trip since 2014, was awarded the PVC team championship. Its coach, Josh Blowe, was named Coach of the Year.
Felton was joined by a trio of Golden Tornado teammates on the All-PVC unit in Austyn Healy, Rooney Urice and Jillian Ault.
Hampshire’s Della Knight, Kendyl Stewart and Brookyln Klavuhn made the cut, and Berkeley Springs’ Maddie Close and Frankfort’s Kasi Ouellette filled out the squad.
Bibs Felton was named Player of the Year, joined by teammates Austyn Healy, Rooney Urice, and Jillian Ault from Keyser, along with Della Knight, Kendyl Stewart, Brooklyn Klavuhn, Maddie Close, and Kasi Ouellette from other schools.
Keyser finished the season with an 18-4 record, won the PVC team championship, and made its third consecutive Class AAA state tournament appearance, reaching the semifinals for the first time since 2014.
