Miles McBride was quiet while receiving a rare opportunity in the Knicksā starting lineup with OG Anunoby sidelined due to a right hamstring strain in Game 3.
He finished with three points, knocking down just one of his five threes.
Still, Mike Brown elected to run the backup guard right back out there as Anunoby remained sidelined in Game 4, and he was sure to make the most of it this time around.

The struggling McBride regained his rhythm from the opening tip.
"DEEUUCCEE" chants rained down from the pro-Knicks crowd at Xfinity Mobile Arena as he went on a personal 9-0 run to quickly help open a double-digit advantage.
New York ended up drilling an incredible 11-of-13 attempts from behind the arc in the opening frame, which tied an NBA record for the most in any playoff quarter.
McBride only continued rolling from there, as he drained his fifth three of the day minutes into the second quarter before finally missing his first shot.
He added two more easy ones from the free-throw line and drilled his sixth three of the half, heading into the break with a team-high 20 points.
The 25-year-old kept rolling with things out of reach in the third, hitting another and then adding three from the free-throw line before Brown decided to empty the bench.
McBride finished the blowout victory with a game-high 25 points on 7-of-9 from three-point land.
āThis is what I expect to do,ā McBride said. āI feel like thatās why the coaching staff trusts me in the lineup, my teammates trust me out there, and just I trust my work.ā
Anunoby figures to have plenty of time to heal before the Knicks start the Eastern Conference Finals, but getting McBride back in rhythm would be a huge boost off the bench.
āI just want to win and do what I can to help this team win,ā he said.
