There's one thing he's already doing, though, that's totally different than he did with the Cubs.
Tucker is swinging at the first pitch a lot.
Tucker swung at 36.3% of the first pitches he saw last season with the Cubs.
This season, he's up to 57.5% swinging at the first pitch.
It's the biggest year-to-year increase in baseball through April 16.
It's also a trend, because Tucker swung at even fewer first pitches (32.2%) in his final season with the Astros.

Obviously, it's still early enough that this could move back in the other direction at some point, but it sure seems to speak at least a little bit to Tucker's approach right now, too.
He's in a stacked lineup, and that likely results in a few more hittable pitches. Tucker is trying not to let them pass him by.
Especially in a slow start to the season, it's worth jumping on that first good pitch you see.
Tucker actually swings at the second-most first pitches, by percentage, so far this MLB season. Only the Rockies' Ezequiel Tovar (58.4%) swings at more.

Right below Tucker on the chart is Josh Naylor (56.6%), who is also well above his career norm and also a dozen percentage points above last season as he too tries to break out of an early-season slump.
Whether or not this continues for Tucker will be fascinating to follow. The Dodgers won't care much when he swings as long as the results are good.
