Hearts are close to signing midfielder Tom Renaud from Versailles.
The Lakers will face the Rockets in Game 1 of their playoff series on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. PT. Key players Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves are out for the Lakers, while Kevin Durant is questionable for the Rockets.
Six days after they ended their regular-season schedule with a 131-107 win over the Utah Jazz, the Los Angeles Lakers will begin their best-of-seven first-round playoff series against the Houston Rockets on Saturday. Game 1 of that series will start at 5:30 p.m. Pacific time and will take place at Crypto.com Arena.
The Lakers are obviously underdogs with Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves still out due to hamstring and oblique strains, respectively, and no firm timeline for either's return. But everyone else is expected to be available for them, even though LeBron James admitted this week he's been fighting off an illness, per The Athletic.
For the Rockets, there has been a bit of a surprise development. Kevin Durant is listed as questionable due to a knee contusion, although it seems the Hall of Famer is fully expected to play on Saturday. They will continue to be without big man Steven Adams and point guard Fred VanVleet.
Game 2 of this series will be on Tuesday, which will give both teams plenty of time to rest and recover after beginning this battle.
