Barcelona star Lamine Yamal was quick to take to social media to aim a jibe at Espanyol, in the aftermath of Saturday’s meeting between the two sides.
The latest edition of the Catalan Derby was of course played to completion yesterday evening.
When all was said and done, it was hosts Barcelona who emerged on the right side of the result, to further extend their advantage atop the La Liga table.
The aforementioned Lamine proved himself the star of the show at the Spotify Camp Nou, from his berth on the right wing.
En route to a 4-1 Blaugrana triumph, the 18-year-old played a direct hand in three of his side’s goals.
And as alluded to above, post-match, Lamine was keen to rub salt in the wounds of all of an Espanyol persuasion.
In a post on his official Instagram account, the Spanish international wrote:
‘Barcelona is blaugrana! They will have to swallow it, like always…’
