The Las Vegas Raiders traded picks 36 and 117 to the Houston Texans for picks 38 and 91, giving general manager John Spytek an additional third-round pick. The Raiders then used the 91st overall pick of the 2026 NFL draft to select Texas A&M offensive lineman Trey Zuhn III.
This is an interesting selection for the Raiders. The teamβs offensive line was undoubtedly one of the weakest position groups on the roster last season, especially on the interior. However, Spytek signed center Tyler Linderbaum in free agency, and Jackson Powers-Johnson is expected to return to the starting lineup after missing about half of last season.
Also, 2025 third-round pick Caleb Rogers showed promise in his limited opportunities, Jordan Meredith re-signed as a restricted free agent, and Spencer Burford was brought on via free agency this offseason. Thatβs on top of having Kolton Miller at left tackle and either DJ Glaze or 2025 third-round pick at right tackle.

So, there isnβt a clear path for Zuhn to see the starting lineup as a rookie. But he can at least provide some depth, and it helps that he has experience playing both tackle and center in college and profiles as someone who can line up at guard. Additionally, the Texas A&M product has a lot of experience, participating in 54 games in college and serving as a four-year starter.
According to Pro Football Focus, Zuhn only allowed 10 pressures (two sacks) and earned a 96.8 pass-blocking grade last season to help protect new quarterback, Fernando Mendoza.
