Few athletes command more attention than Los Angeles Lakers star forward LeBron James. Many argue James is the greatest NBA player, some even argue the greatest athlete, of all time. He certainly belongs in both those conversations. So, when James takes notice of another player, people listen.
One player who James has discussed lately is Will Anderson Jr. And while James respects Anderson's game, another aspect of Anderson has caught his attention: That the Houston defensive star looks a lot like his son, Bronny James.
ESPN analyst Anthony Gharib wrote on the connection between Anderson and James. Here's what Gharib had to share.
"Side-by-side comparisons between Anderson and James' eldest son, Bronny, have gone viral on social media through the years. Users have joked that Anderson looks like Bronny and could be his twin brother.
James was asked postgame about his moment with Anderson. He called it 'pretty cool.' He then smiled and joked about the resemblance between his son and Anderson.
'It was good to see him. You know, that's my fourth child. Him and Bronny are twins and don't nobody know it. Me and Savannah (James) have been trying to keep it under wraps for a long time,' he said. 'But nah, no disrespect to his parents, his real parents. Let me not get nothing started.'"
Whether or not James was joking that Anderson literally looks like Bronny or that he simply has a ton of respect for him is unclear, but it provides another fun storyline as Anderson prepares for his first season under a second contract with the Texans.

The two athletes do share a few similarities. Among them, that both players broke out early in their professional careers.
Anderson, 24, is younger than new Los Angeles Chargers draft pick Akheem Mesidor. The Houston edge rusher already has 30 career sacks in three seasons in the NFL after 34 sacks at the college level with the Alabama Crimson Tide.
In addition to his already productive career, Anderson is the highest paid edge rusher in the NFL thanks to a historic three-year, $150 million contract with the Texans. And while he's not in greatest of all time conversations yet, it's possible he could move into greatest edge rusher discussions if he continues his upward trajectory.
Anderson will look to have an even better season in 2026.
